THE SNOW BIKE FESTIVAL

The Snow Bike Festival 2017 will take place from January 19-22 2017 in Gstaad, Switzerland. It is Europe’s winter festival of snow biking. We are pleased to announce and confirm our long-term partnership with GSTAAD as the host and destination sponsor of the Snow Bike Festival for at least the next 3 years. Registration for the 2017 event will open by the end of June 2016!

FAT BIKING

Snow Bikes are Fat Bikes and other bikes with wide tyres providing them with lots of traction and are capable of riding on snow. Handling of the bikes requires no previous experience. Riding a Fat Bike on snow is a unique experience, whether you are simply maintaining your fitness or training for another event, or just want to try out something new and exhilarating. Most of all, they are a lot of fun and a great excuse to keep riding throughout winter.

MOUNTAIN BIKING

Snow Bikes can also be Mountain Bikes with tyres run at low pressure to increase traction. Riding a Mountain Bike on snow adds another dimension to the fun and excitement that comes with Mountain Biking. The routes of the Snow Bike Festival will be expanded to include MTB friendly trails. The inclusion of a Mountain Bike category at Snow Bike Festival makes the event fully inclusive in the World of Mountain Biking.
